We embrace all styles of yoga. We believe that the evolution of yoga must move beyond the proliferation and fixation on styles of asana. At Level 1, we’ll provide you with the foundations to teach authentic yoga safely and effectively while encouraging you to develop your strengths and your own unique teaching style.

At Level 2, you’ll learn to assess and train your individual clients one-on-one at all levels. This system is totally unique to Yogacoach and will set you apart from your peers in the Yoga industry. You’ll also be strongly encouraged to follow your passion and develop your own Specialised Teaching Niche. We believe that this is pivotal to earning a great living and really making a difference with your yoga teaching.

As yoga is a system of personal development designed to reveal our highest potential, you’ll need to be eager and committed to learn and grow.[/toggle][toggle title=”WHAT SIZE ARE YOUR CLASSES?” open=”no”]Our training style is dynamic, participatory and experiential. We provide you with all of the required manuals and workbooks to help you to excel.

A supplementary reading list is also available for those who wish to study further.

Level 2 Training involves a Functional Assessment Module (absolutely unique to Yogacoach and invaluable for providing the best possible results for your clients!) where you learn to measure and assess Functional Posture and Joint Range of Movement. Some of the measuring equipment for these assessments can be uploaded as an iPhone application, or we can guide you in purchasing the necessary equipment if you don’t have an iPhone.

You have the option to continue your training and support with group online mentoring at the completion of the course. As ongoing mentoring is optional, this is additional to the course fees.

Sydney training is non-residential so you’ll need to bring your own food and drinks – we provide a great range of herbal teas, just BYO mug!

Overseas Intensives are residential, so the training price includes share accommodation and mostly vegetarian meals. Student participation and competency is regularly assessed throughout the training with tests, practicals, discussions and teaching and assisting practice. Through this process, students will be well versed in all aspects of the training. If a student is deemed not yet competent, provision can usually be made for further study or practice and reassessment within the timeframe of the course.

Level 1 students are required to teach a complete yoga class as their final assessment.

They are also required to record 60hrs of external class attendance and keep a personal practice journal.

Level 2 students will complete a real–life client assessment and coaching program as their final assignment.
